Let It Ride
Let It Ride Poker is another variation of 5 card stud poker that incorporates a social atmosphere with lots of betting and excitement making the game a favourite amongst players. The way Let It Ride works is by dealing out three cards to each player around a table that they must combine with two cards in front of the dealer in order to make a poker hand. This is very similar to the Texas Hold’em style of poker however in Three Card Poker the players at the table are not competing against one another or the dealer, rather, they are trying to complete a poker hand and are dealt three hole cards instead of two. The game starts off by the player placing three equal bets into separate betting boxes on the table (one for each card they will receive). Once all the players at the table have been dealt their three cards, the dealer will put two cards face down in front of them and the first round will commence.
The first round is when the players examine the three cards that they have been given by the dealer. Once the player has seen their hand they need to make a decision regarding whether or not to pull one of their three bets or let it ride and continue with the hand. This decision is made by using the let it ride payouts found below, but generally speaking unless you have a pair of tens or higher in your first three cards you will remove one of your bets.
The next step is the dealer flipping the first of the two community down cards which you use in combination with you hand. When this card is flipped, it will either increase your hands value or have no affect. Once again, players may choose to remove another bet (leaving one of the three originals) or let it ride and continue with the hand. The final step is the dealer turning over the last community card and at this point they will expose all player cards and make payouts accordingly. In Let it Ride Poker you can win or lose a maximum of three bets all the way down to one bet if you have pulled your bets throughout the hand (meaning you did not think you were going to improve past a pair of tens). Next we will look at the payouts associated with the hands that will help you determine when to pull a bet and when to let it ride.

Let It Ride Jackpots
In addition to the normal payouts associated with let it ride there is sometimes also a bonus wager (usually $1) that can be placed in addition to your three bets. This is usually only won by completely top hands and can pay anywhere from $20,000 - $25,000 for hitting a royal flush. Generally speaking, the bonus is not that valuable to players however some like the extra excitement it brings to the game.
